Iraq Crisis: Indian Navy Puts Two Warships On Standby For Evacuation Of Stranded Indian Nationals

The government is likely to press two warships of the Indian Navy into service to evacuate Indians stranded in civil war-hit Iraq. INS Mysore and INS Tarkash are waiting for a go ahead for the new task, said a report published in The Times of India.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 




According to the report, INS Mysore reached Persian Gulf on Saturday. Another warship, INS Tarkash, which is presently in the Gulf of Aden, is also ready to undertake the evacuation process.
