Subrata Roy has surrendered before Uttar Pradesh police.
Roy's lawyers Ram Jethmalani mentioned in Supreme Court that his client has surrendered in accordance with the court's order. Jethmalani sought revocation of non-bailable warrant against Roy and assured the bench that his client will appear on March 4.
But the court refused to hear the matter before March 4.
Earlier , brushing aside speculations about absconding after a non-bailable warrant (NBW) was issued against him by the Supreme Court, Sahara chief Subrata Roy had issued a statement that he is not absconding and ready to 'unconditionally' obey Supreme Court order
