Supreme Court has granted conditional bail to Sahara chief Subrata Roy, according to television reports.
Roy was lodged in Tihar Jail after a ruling by the apex court
against Roy and two other directors Ashok Roy Choudhary and Ravi Shankar
Dubey to judicial custody.
The bail was granted on the condition that Sahara Group's chief pay Rs. 10,000
crore in order for the bail to be granted. The Court agreed to defreeze
the accounts of the companies so that the required amount is arranged.
