While filing the nomination from Vadodara in Gujarat, for the first
time ever, Modi revealed his marital status as 'married.' The name of
his wife is Jashodaben.
Narendra Modi has left the column of marital status blank since past 4 assembly elections.
This incident also stole limelight in the international media. Many
newspapers made fun headlines about Narendra Modi declaring his marital
status as married after 50 years.
