Election Commission of
India has said that it has the power to cancel the Lok Sabha polls in
West Bengal if Mamta Banerjee refuses to comply with its order of
transferring officials.
On Tuesday, EC had ordered West Bengal CM Mamta Banerjee to
transfer 3 district magistrates, 5 superintendants of police and
additional district magistrate.
A defiant Mamta hit back at the EC and refused to transfer the officials.
