September 13, 2013 – BJP sealed its fate by declaring Narendra Modi as its PM candidate for the 16th Lok Sabha Elections.
The day he was anointed he accepted the party decision, Modi gave a
slogan "nayi sonch, nayi ummeed" (new thinking, new hope) and had said
the BJP will go the 2014 polls with the plank of good governance and
development while fighting against corruption and price rise.
