Just after news about public broadcaster Doordarshan allegedly editing out certain remarks by the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP’s) prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi that Priyanka Gandhi is like her daughter, making rounds, allegedly edited reference by the Gujarat Chief Minister in the interview that the Congress leader Ahmed Patel is a ‘good friend’ has further heated up the issue. Times of India reported the news first on Thursday.
Modi said in the interview "Ahmedbhai is among the best friends I
have in Congress but not now. I had a good friendship with him and would
have preferred that it had remained so.but he now runs away from me and
doesn't take my calls.”
