Governors are like ageing prostitutes’, says Former Director General of Police KPS Gill

New Delhi:  To spark off a new controversy, Former Director General of Police, KPS Gill said that governors are like ageing prostitutes. In a TV interview in Assam, Gill said that “In 1993, Rajesh Pilot requested me to become the governor of Manipur but I declined. Governors are like ageing prostitutes who wait without any work. I was never interested in that job”. 
                                   
                                

Gill was posted in Assam during the agitation between 1979 and 1985.

 

Assam CM, Tarun Gogoi had earlier claimed that the police chief was responsible for ‘secret killings’ of Assam under Prafulla Kumar Mahanta government.
