MODEL RAPE CASE: Mumbai DIG Sunil Paraskar Suspended

 According to sources, the Maharashtra government on Tuesday decided to suspend Deputy Inspector General of Police, Sunil Paraskar, accused of raping a 25-year-old model in Mumbai.
The decision came after Director General of Maharashtra police sent a damning report on the Paraskar episode to the home ministry.

The  proposal to suspend the deputy inspector general (DIG-protection of civil rights units) was sent to Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan.

Shah Rukh Khan To Do A Cameo In Nagesh Kukunoor's Marathi Film Dhanak

Seems like Marathi cinema has too much attracted our B Town celebrities, especially with our Khans, After Salman Khan did an dhamakedar debut in Riteish Deshmukh’s Lai Bhaari, Aamir Khan too expressed his keen interest in being a part of a Marathi film and now the Shah Rukh Khan has joined the league by doing a cameo in Nagesh Kukunoor’s Marathi film Dhanak.

Second Incident In A Week In Delhi, Speeding SUV Runs Over Three People, One Killed

In the second incident of drunk driving in the national capital this week, a driver who was allegedly in an inebriated state ran over his SUV over three people standing near a footpath in Central Delhi, killing one of them.

Police said the incident took place near Shanti Van around 11.15 PM Wednesday night when the driver, identified as Satyaprakash and a resident of Rohini area, lost control over the vehicle.

DIG Busy Dancing While Faizabad Simmers With Communal Tension After Gang-Rape

The famous Dwarkadheesh Temple in the land of Lord Krishna reverberated with sounds of conch, bells and vedic hymns as Janmashtami celebrations began on Sunday.

"Milk, curd, honey, 'khandsari' and ghee was used to bath the deity in the morning. Lasting for half an hour, the abhishek (anointment) ceremony was completed with aarati," Adhikari of the temple Sridhar Chaturvedi said.
