Where is Anushka Sharma heading to? Star Snapped at Airport

Anushka Sharma was recently spotted at Mumbai Airport leaving for Barcelona to join the cast of Zoya Akhtar’s Dil Dhadakne Do. The film which also stars Priyanka Chopra, Ranveer Singh and Farhan Akhtar is a road movie being produced by Ritieish Sidhwani. The film is being shot at one of the most picturesque locales. While Anushka was supposed to join rest of the cast in Barcelona earlier, her schedule for NH10 hindered the plans leaving her with some time to be spent with alleged boyfriend Virat Kohli as well.

Here, Anushka can be seen sporting a casual look with a pair of denims, khakee jacket, a cap and sneakers for a comfortable flight. The actress did look slightly tired and refrained from entertaining shutterbugs as she left for Barcelona from Mumbai Airport yesterday. Dil Dhadakne Do will also star Anil Kapoor, Shefali Shah and Rahul Bose.

Mardaani first look unveiled, Rani Mukerji weaves her magic again

It has been a talking point for way too long, we mean before Mrs. Chopra decided to get hitched secretly at some dream destinantion. Rani Mukerji’s next release has been on everybody’s mind. It had everyone wondering what she’d be like in the movie. Well the name spelt it, she would be the hero of the film. So when Yrf unveiled the first look of their woman of the family’s next, she was trending and how.

Take a good look. Mardaani is here and she looks fiercely stunning. Dressed in a black kurta with some silver strings around her neck and a gun in her hand, Rani Mukerji is wearing her character’s skin with much ease on the poster. With a reduced frame & a striking face, this is her war call to the rest, she is back and she is here only to reign. With a bleeding goon in the background, Rani is seen striking a pose at the door way.
We personally are sold out on this one, she looks good and it suddenly feels like this is going to be her much awaited screen run. And a post note? She hasn’t taken up her husband’s last name officially yet. Refer to poster and you’ll know.http://daily.bhaskar.com/article-hf/ENT-mardaani-first-look-unveiled-rani-mukerji-weaves-her-magic-again-4629508-NOR.html

This is how Cong scored a self goal, Indira and Rajiv Gandhi did not hold a graduation degree

In power, the Congress fell short on communication. Out of power, it has overdone it and gifted the BJP a shield to deflect discomfiture over Smriti Irani, the new human resource development minister.
The Congress’s communications chief Ajay Maken had tweeted questioning Smriti Irani’s educational qualification, he said she is not even a graduate. A backlash erupted on the party today, led by the BJP that sought details of the qualifications of the Nehru-Gandhis.
Had Maken kept quiet, the Congress could have enjoyed the sight of the BJP stewing in its own juice. But the BJP smelt blood — and instead of clearing the air on the discrepancy — asked the Congress for the degrees of Sonia.

BJP leader and Union minister Uma Bharati said: “I want to ask them (Congress) ‘what are the educational qualifications of Sonia Gandhi’, because she has headed the UPA and gave directions to the then Prime Minister Manmohan Singh? The entire UPA government would stand with folded hands outside her door. So Sonia Gandhi, who ran the UPA government, what are her qualifications?”http://daily.bhaskar.com/article-ht/NAT-TOP-congress-scores-a-self-goal-rajiv-and-indira-gandhi-did-not-have-a-graduation-de-4629271-PHO.html

Asked whether Sonia has a degree, Congress spokesperson Abhishek Singhvi said: “She is not a minister.”

From the information available in the public domain, it does not appear that Sonia, Rajiv Gandhi and Indira Gandhi had degrees. However, Rahul Gandhi holds an MPhil in development economics from Trinity College, University of Cambridge.
The Congress party is in no position to criticise her. One of their foremost leaders Rajiv Gandhi, never completed any degree after leaving the Doon School. He was the prime minister of the country. His mother Indira, never completed her degree at Oxford. Their current leader Sonia Gandhi's educational qualifications are also nothing to write home about. So, they really are not in a position to criticise Irani. It's like the pot calling the kettle black.

Madhu Kishwar EXCLUSIVE: 'I am ready to APOLOGISE to Smriti Irani if...'

Congress has been utterly decimated, routed through the ranks in the just concluded 2014 parliamentary elections. And, if detractors of the grand old party are to be taken at their face value, the obliteration is there to stay stretched, may be till the day Rahul Gandhi wakes up with a sense of sensitivity for a situation and keeps his dimpled-cheek-smile in control, especially when publicly asked to elucidate the muddy show of his political unit.
It should be no overstatement to make that the latest mandate by people is retribution or castigation for Congress for indulging in vulgar implementation of social welfare schemes which ultimately hit the final nail in the Congress’ coffin. Now, the party is not even fit to put up as major opposition force inside the Parliament.
“Modi-fied” Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) must be taking sigh of relief from this, thinking the dilapidated Congress will barely be able to tender plentiful resistance to them, meaning thereby, the shots are up to be taken for free without worrying about the bartender and the bill.http://daily.bhaskar.com/article-ht/NAT-TOP-i-am-ready-to-apologise-to-smriti-irani-if-she-comes-up-with-something-exception-4629459-PHO.html

The presence of foreign leaders with high threat perception like Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa at Narendra Modi's swearing in has led to a massive scale-up in security for the event on Monday.

More than 10,000 personnel are being deployed to secure the Rashtrapati Bhavan - where Modi will take the oath of office as Prime Minister on Monday evening - and hotels where top dignitaries are staying, as well as to manage traffic, making the security arrangement for the event on par with that for the Republic Day parade

Soon after his swearing-in as India's 14th prime minister, Narendra Modi may take first big step to bring back black money stashed abroad. A new task force created to deal with black money derived from corruption, money laundering, hawala, terrorist financing or through off-shoring of wealth via tax havens, a media report said on Friday.
Quoting an official close to the development, India Today reported, "This task force has been created under the directions of senior officials of the Department of Revenue. It will be headed by the Financial Intelligence Unit."

Sorry Narendra Modi critics: BJP's vote share far higher than the official figure of 31%

Riding on 'Modi wave',  the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) won 282 seats on its own but its vote share stood at only 31 percent. While some say that the vote share of BJP allies (the NDA got 38.2% votes overall), who also fought the polls under Modi's leadership, have not been included in the figure, others have said that no party usually crosses a 40 percent vote share in the multi-party systems. It happens only in two-party races that a party gets over 50 percent votes.Quoting Raju Limbachiya, a Modi supporter, R Jagannathan of Firstpost writes the 31 percent relates to BJP votes in the whole country, when it actually fought only 428 seats. If we take the BJP’s vote share in the seats it contested, the party’s figure is closer to 40 percent on an average.

Kangana Ranaut does not go Shah Rukh Khan way, refuses Rs. 3 crore offer to dance at wedding

Kangana is one star with lots of morals. This Bollywood diva whose latest film Queen proved out to be one of the most successful films of her career, has apparently turned down an offer worth Rs. 3 Crore to dance at a wedding. While it is almost a routine call for Bollywood stars to get such offers which in fact form a decent part of their income, it is however surprising for a star to refuse such an offer.  Post Queen’s surprising success, the star’s popularity is on the rise. Considering which she has been getting a lot of such offers lately.

But the woman of morals that Kangana is, she immediately refused to take the offer. Incidentally, Kangana does not like to perform at weddings which is why she refused such a lucrative offer. Confirming the news, Kangana’s sister Rangoli said, “Yes, this is right. She didn’t agree to do this wedding performance, even though they offered her good money. She does not want to do them as they take her attention away from her film work. Right now, she just wants to focus on her professional commitments."

They came out in huge numbers to support a party that was actually a novice in the field. They chose faith, hope and intentions over the much-required experience of other political parties.

Numbers To Look Out For This General Elections

Lok Sabha Elections 2014

Elections 2014, mother of all elections, unprecedented polls in the history of independent India for several reasons. The highest ever turnout in an Indian general election means the highest ever turnout in any democratic process anywhere in the world. Fifty-five crore voters queued up to get their finger inked, more people than the combined population of the USA and Russia.

It has also been the most polarised election in a long time. And of course, it's the most expensive election ever fought in India. And we're not yet talking about undeclared expenses: The government alone spent Rs. 3,426 crore, that's 131 percent more than the bill for the 2009 general election.

Fate Of 21 Political Leaders To Be Decided In Kanpur Today

The results and trends of Lok Sabha Elections have started coming in. The preparations of counting are completed at the center in Galla Mandi of Kanpur. The security forces are deployed at every turn.

The fate of BJP's Murli Manohar Joshi and Shriprakash will be decided after the results.
The counting of votes was to start at 8 in the morning in Kanpur but postal ballots were opened up at 8:30 am delaying the counting of votes. Also, out of 412 postal ballots, 44 invalid ballots were recovered.

Jayalalithaa Mamata And Mayawati Meet The Kingmakers In Delhi

All exit poll surveys are hinting at BJP's landslide victory in the 16th Lok Sabha Elections and with less than 24 hours to go for the poll results speculations are rife over the post poll alliance with the three titans who will make or break the fortunes of the person who aspires to claim the throne in Delhi.

All three are long-distance runners who have realised the need to consolidate their own turf even when they were part of coalition governments at the Centre. And it is not as though they were easy coalition partners. But what they cleverly did, I feel, was to have used their clout at the Centre to gather strength in their own states. Mayawati fell out of favour in Uttar Pradesh and so did Jayalalithaa but the wheel of fortune has turned in favour of all three ladies.
