Black Buck Poaching Case

Jodhpur: Bollywood actor Salman Khan has reached the Jodhpur airport through a charter plane for the hearing in black buck poaching case. The hearing will start at 11 am in a local court of Jodhpur.

Modi Vs Mulayam

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh holds the key when it comes to forming government in Delhi. BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi knows this fact fully well, and it seems his efforts to make inroads into Samajwadi Party's land are paying dividends. At the same time, Samajwadi Party Supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav is in no mood to let Modi make an impact in Uttar Pradesh.

CAG interrogates pvt discom officials in Delhi

New Delhi:  Teams from the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) of India visited the offices of the three private discoms in Delhi to begin with the audit of their financial records on request of the incumbent Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government in the national capital.

Politics of DEATH in Bengal: SFI leader killed by mob

Kolkata: Violence in Bengal’s student politics continues unabated as a local leader of the Students' Federation of India (SFI), students wing of the CPI(M), was on Sunday allegedly beaten to death at Baruipur area in South 24 Parganas district.

8 dead, over 40 injured in stampede ahead of funeral of Dawoodi Bohra community spiritual head

Mumbai: At least 18 people lost their lives in a stampede that broke out on Saturday at 1:30 am ahead of funeral of Dawoodi Bohra community spiritual head Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin near the Malabar Hill residence of Syedna.

German woman alleges rape in a Chennai bound train

Chennai: A German woman, who is a social worker in Udipi, alleged of rape on January 10. The woman was travelling in a Chennai bound West Coach Express. She boarded the train on a reservation against cancellation ticket.
                                                       
She has alleged that Chandan Kumar who also shared the berth with her in the train raped her near the Kozhikode area on the night of January 10.Read more

Priyanka Gandhi attends crucial Congress meet, likely to fuel Rahul's campaign

New Delhi: With Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi floundering on one assignment after another, sister Priyanka Gandhi may be pressed into service to ensure country's oldest political party holds on to its traditional bastions of Amethi and Rae Bareli; constituencies that send Rahul and Sonia to country's Parliament. Aam Aadmi Party's Kaushambi office ransacked over Prashant Bhushan's comments on AFSPA
